John Abraham’s starrer upcoming movie The Diplomatbaixopg, which was set for theatrical release on March 7, has been postponed. The political thriller will now sit the screens on Holi, March 14.
Directed by Shivam Nair, The Diplomat is based on a true story. John Abraham plays the real-life Indian diplomat J.P. Singh, who embarks a risky mission to rescue the ‘Daughter of India’.
The makers announced it on social media with the caption, ''The wait gets longer, but his impact only grows stronger. 🙌🏻#TheDiplomat now arrives on 14th March (sic)''.
The movie is about Indian diplomat, who handles the situation tactfully and with negotiation. It shows intellect, wit and resilience are the ultimate weapons for a diplomat and not wars.
Earlier, John, in a statement, shared, “Diplomacy is a battlefield where words carry more weight than weapons. Playing J.P. Singh allowed me to explore a world where power is defined by intellect, resilience, and quiet heroism. Uzma’s story is a testament to India’s strength and courage, and I’m proud to bring this inspiring journey to life on screen."
